Happy January, Reader.
I am currently at home in Texas, attempting to keep warm. Lovely weather we are having. I love waking up to a layer of ice on my car — said no one ever.
But let’s put the grumpiness aside!
It’s a new year and it’s time for new creative projects. Isabelle Allende always begins her new creative project on January 8. However, for others of us who are not so prolific, what the heck are we going to do this year?
Seriously, what the heck are we going to do this year?
So, let’s do this thing I’m calling the Fresh Ink Chronicles — for the next three weeks (three entries), I’ll focus on the ABCs of starting a writing project. I’ll try to make it genre-less but you know narrative is my go to so apologies in advance.
Here’s the topics for the three week series:
Week 1: Setting Writing Intentions
Week 2: How to Collect Real Life Characters
Week 3: Reading to Write
These topics should get us started (me included) on the next thing to write or create.
The first one will be coming into your inbox tomorrow!
And if there are other topic you’d like for me to cover, please let me know by making a comment.
Until then!
